Well, it’s not actually that new, you may well have already seen this, as it’s been out for a few days and we’ve been overworked here on HCF doing other things, but if you haven’t, check out the new trailer for Wonder Woman because it really does seem to suggest that this could be a DC film that isn’t poor! It’s actually appealing to look at, the tone seems about right, the World War 2 setting and elements of Greek mythology add interest, and only the CGI seems a bit poo – though it’s possible that it hasn’t been finished yet.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins, written by Allan Heinberg from a story by Heinberg, Zack Snyder and Jason Fuchs, and stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, Ewen Bremner, Elena Anaya, David Thewlis, Lucy Davis, and Danny Huston. It’s out June 2nd.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
