Win SHUT IN on DVD In Our Competition!

To celebrate the release of Shut In – available on DVD & Blu-ray 10th April – we are giving away a copy of the DVD courtesy of Arrow Films.

Shut In is a heart-pounding thriller starring two-time Oscar Nominee Naomi Watts, that relentlessly questions whether or not we can really believe our own eyes and ears.

Isolated by her role as carer to her paralyzed son and by a devastating blizzard, Watts’ child psychologist, Mary, must find out the truth behind a missing boy in her care. Making great use of its claustrophobic setting, Shut In is a terrifying slice of New England gothic that will keep you riveted until the final twist.

I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Always Sometimes Monsters and The Witcher

  1. “Eastern Promises” is my favourite Naomi Watts movie – the on-screen tension between her and Viggo Mortensen’s characters is outstanding!

  2. The Impossible. The brave and committed performance by Naomi Watts is the miracle of the film. She falls into the role of “Maria” with perfect precision and accuracy.

  3. The Ring x I would of put King Kong but I have a thing of not watching King Kong movies as I don’t like where King Kong dies 🙁 lol
