Indie Short Film Project ‘4 Films To Die 4’ Launch Crowdfunding Campaign

A crowdfunding campaign has been launched for independent short film project 4 Films To Die 4.

4 Films To Die 4 is a collection of four short films directed by Portuguese filmmaker Rui Pedro Sousa aided by a European crew who live and work in the UK. Two of the films, Zombie and George, have completed principle photography, leaving the final two films, Awoken and Whispers, to be shot. However, due to the latter two’s more ambitious plots, the 4filmstodie4 decided to set up an Indiegogo campaign to raise the funds needed to complete their project.

The campaign is looking to raise £8000 with plenty of rewards for those who wish to pledge, from thank you cards to mugs. The money will fund equipment, house rental for the shoot of Whispers, make-up, props, costumes and post-production.

To give pledgers a little idea of what to expect, check out the quality teaser trailers for the four movies below.

Zombie tells the story of two brothers walking through the forest towards their friend’s home. Suddenly they are stopped by the discovery of a dead body.

All George wanted was to get home and eat his Hamburger without any interruption.

It’s Christmas Night. A boy is sleeping in his bed. Suddenly a HUGE MAN enters his room carrying his dead parent’s bodies.

A boy arrives at his new home to realise he isn’t alone at all.

I love practical effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Tembo: The Badass Elephant, Yakuza Zero and Payday 2.
