Considering he’s 55 years old, it’s perhaps no surprise that Tom Cruise has picked up a bit of an injury on the set of the new Mission: Impossible film in London. He was leaping from one building to another while secured to a wired harness when he fell just short of the mark and hit the edge pretty hard. He can also be seen limping after being grounded and ultimately pulled away from the stunt by crew members on the safety team.

“I have been in training for a couple of years and we’ve done a lot of testing to see what is possible,” Cruise told The Graham Norton Show earlier this year, but maybe he didn’t do enough.

Meanwhile the far sadder news has recently come in that a female stunt driver was killed on the set of Deadpool 2 after a trick involving a motorcycle went wrong….

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
