A remake of The Crow has been talked about for several years now, with Jack Huston, Norman Reedus, Luke Evans and Tom Hiddleston all attached to the title role at some point, but nothing happened. Perhaps Brandon Lee’s accidental death whilst making the 1994 film put some people off. Not that long ago, it was reported that actor Jason Momoa, director Corin Hardy and producer Ed Pressman had all met up and were promising that big things would be happening soon. Now, Variety informs us that Sony have snapped up distribution rights for the film. With a major studio willing to throw lots of money at it, it seems that the project will finally happen now.

Though this will supposedly be more faithful to James O’ Barr’s graphic novel than the original movie, I can’t say that I’m looking forward to this myself, as the earlier film was just fine. Let’s just hope at least that they don’t go for a bloody ‘PG-13’ rating.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
