I’d totally forgotten that they were having another go at a film based on the hit TV series from the late 1970’s about three female detectives, played by Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith, who worked for mysterious benefactor named Charlie. Anyway, The Wrap have broken the news that Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong’o are in talks for the reboot at Sony, which was actually first announced back in 2015 with director Elizabeth Banks as director. She’s still attached, but there seems to have been some major script rewriting going on even though the screenplay is only credited to two people, David Auburn and Carlo Bernard.

The first Charlie’s Angels film in 2000 was reasonably fun though bore no relation to the TV series. The second was a bit of a stinker, so at the very least this new film should be an improvement on that. Now who should the third girl be?

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
