Demo Released For Twin Peaks-Inspired THE NORWOOD SUITE

Alliance Digital Media and indie developer Cosmo D, the mind behind Off-Peak, have released a free demo for The Norwood Suite on Windows PC. The demo lets players experience the game’s introductory scenes, explore the grounds and lobby of the secluded Hotel Norwood, and interact with its guests and staff. Players’ progress from the demo will carry over to the full version of the game when purchased, which is available now on Steam, the Humble Store, and itch.io for £5.79.

Recently featured as Kotaku’s “Indie Pick of the Week,” The Norwood Suite is an atmospheric adventure like few others, inspired by classics like Gone Home and Twin Peaks, as well as the works of Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Kar-wai and the New York music scene. What begins as a simple errand run for a mysterious new friend at the old Hotel Norwood quickly evolves into a bizarre journey featuring strange characters, secret passageways and lost memories. Behind the doors of The Norwood Suite is a unique game world teeming with surreal art design, clever surprises and an original atmospheric score composed by Cosmo D.

I love practical effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Yakuza Zero and Mafia III.
