The next installment of the loosely connected Cloverfield film series, titled God Particle, was originally shifted from its original February 24, 2017 release date to October 27, 2017, and its title was seemingly changed to 2017 Cloverfield Movie. Then it was moved again to February 2 this year ….and now it’s just moved again to an April 20, 2018 release. There don’t seem to be any rumours of problems with the film, so why Paramount keep doing this is unknown at the time of writing.

God Particle is set in the near future and tells the story of a team of astronauts on a space station who make a terrifying discovery involving a new energy source — the “God Particle” — and their desperate fight for survival.

Julius Onah directs from a screenplay by Oren Uziel and Doug Jung. The film stars David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris O’Dowd, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ziyi Zhang, and Daniel Brühl.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
