Though I didn’t like World War Z much, it was a huge hit so lots of people are no doubt looking forward the sequel. However, it seems that we’re going to have to wait a bit longer. Filming was set to begin this past January, with director David Fincher and Dennis Kelly having worked on a script rewrite, but that didn’t happen. And now, Paramount have further delayed production to accommodate star Brad Pitt, who has just signed on to co-star in Quentin Tarantino‘s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s unclear if the studio even had a choice in the matter being that Pitt is not just the star but also the main producer of World War Z 2.

So at the time of writing the film is due to begin shooting this autumn – but don’t bet on it.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
