With Ready Player One, already making $475m worldwide and having massive critical success, Steven Spielberg has moved on into the world of Superheroes, but hold onto your hat, he is not going to make a Batman or Superman film.
Spielberg has signed up with DC and Warner Bros to bring BLACKHAWK to the big screen. Who? Well its a legendary comic book series that was massively popular in the 1940’s and it was about a team of World War II fighter pilots, the Blackhawk Squadron, led by a mysterious man known as Blackhawk.
Sounds like a typical Spielberg film right?
David Koepp, who also wrote Spielberg’s Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, is penning once more.
