So it’s no big secret that I’ve not been a fan of the Resident Evil films since the awesome first one and with the number of sequels it generated, with more and more confusing and outlandish scenarios, my faith in the film series was pretty much lost. However, director Reginald Waters, writer Shaun Patrick and their team, all clear fans of the franchise, have decided to produce something that seems to embody more of the games than the Milla Jovovich movies ever did.
I present to you: RESIDENT EVIL: SIREN’S SONG
Shot on German cruise ship “The Aurora”, docked in California, the fan film stars Micaela Davi Rubio as Jill Valentine, Shane Maus as S.T.A.R.’s member Shane, Robert Raimers as Umbrella Operative Codename: Hunk and Nikhil Naidu as RPD Rookie Nikhil.
With Raccoon city overun with zombies, S.T.A.R.S Elite team and Rookie cop Nikhil are sent to find a sample of the virus aboard Umbrella’s hidden laboratory, but it’s not gonna be an easy task! Can they survive the hordes of mutated undead to secure the evidence that will put Umbrella away forever?
RESIDENT EVIL: SIREN’S SONG is set for release this August 2018.
