She’d previously refused to return to the franchise, citing the way her character was handled in Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines as the main reason, but Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor is now returning in the new Terminator film and an on-set photo shows her character with shorter-cropped ash blonde hair, body armour and pump action shotgun.

The franchise previously killed her off in Terminator 3, but James Cameron says that this new film will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day and that:

“We’re pretending the other films were a bad dream. Or an alternate timeline, which is permissible in our multi-verse”.

I’d personally prefer to pretend they were a bad dream, a view I think which is think is shared by many. Even Emilia Clarke, who played Sarah in Terminator: Genisys, recently said that she was “relieved” that the fifth Terminator movie flopped.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
