Back in May, the news broke that showrunner Bryan Fuller had departed the upcoming TV series The Vampire Chronicles, and there was some doubt as to what would happen with it. Now we can tell you that Hulu have just announced that they’ve put the show in development, and the search for a new showrunner is underway.

The Vampire Chronicles is based on Anne Rice’s eleven-book series of the same name which includes Interview With A Vampire, which of course was turned into a major movie hit in 1994. I’m a big fan of that film, but there’s little doubt in my mind that the series could be the ultimate vampire TV show if handled properly, and that looks likely to be the case what with Rice and her son Christopher as executive producers on the Paramount TV/Anonymous series.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
