NEW HORROR ‘QUEEN MARY’ TO BE SHOT ON….THE QUEEN MARY

Where’s the best place to shoot a ghost story? Try the actual place where the hauntings supposedly took place. It’s been reported that Gary Shore’s Queen Mary, which is inspired by spooky goings-ons that supposedly happened on the ocean liner, is going to be filmed on the actual Queen Mary. Since its permanent docking in Long Beach, California, there have already been several commercial haunted attraction experiences aboard the ship that feature ‘terrifying original stories and characters based on the ship’s well-known paranormal tales”.  Considered by many to be the most haunted ship in America, there have been sightings of a sailor in the engine room who was killed in an accident there, a young girl who drowned in the swimming pool whose wet footprints you can sometimes see appearing on the poolside floor, and a lady dressed in white who likes to dance, among others.

Sounds like this could make a fine scary movie, while it’s possible that the filming of it could be rather ‘interesting’ too. Shore’s first feature was Dracula Untold, which was – quite frankly – crap, but we’ll try to forget about that one shall we?

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
