Fans of He-Man and his oddly blunt sword that he never fought with in the cartoon series tended to be let down by the 1987 live action version which was disappointingly set on Earth, though Dolph Lungdren was a pretty good choice for He-Man. In recent years a new movie has been in development with several scripts being written. The latest we heard was that brothers Adam and Aaron Nee had been hired to direct David S. Goyer’s script. However, despite Goyer being a prominent screenwriter largely due to his DC work, it seems that his script has been deemed unsatisfactory as Art Marcum and Matt Holloway [Men in Black: International, Iron Man] are in final talks to write a new draft. What’s the betting that a new director will be announced soon as well?

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
