“PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR FILM” COMING FROM EDGAR WRIGHT

While I’m not much of a fan myself [though I liked parts of Baby Driver and Hot Fuzz, to me he hasn’t made a really satisfying film since Shaun Of The Dead], I’m intrigued at the news that Edgar Wright seems to be going not just dark but serious with his next project. ‘Empire’ has revealed that his next movie will be a psychological horror film set in Soho. It will be inspired by the likes of the classics Don’t Look Now and Repulsion and will have a female lead. It’ll begin shooting this summer and the script will be co-written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns.

And that’s all we know so far, which is why this is such a short article, but when we know more, we’ll let you know!

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
