It may not have got many good reviews and seems to have disappointed most people who saw it [I enjoyed it more than our reviewer David Smith did but still thought it fell far short of its potential], but The Nun is the highest grossing film in the entire Conjuring Universe to date, so a sequel was pretty much a given. And franchise producer Peter Safran has teased that one is already in the works, saying to ‘EW’:

“I think there is an inevitability to another Nun movie. We have a really fun storyline for that teed up, so I think that’s the next one that will be written.”

Until then, we have Annabelle Comes Home, The Conjuring 3 and probably The Crooked Man to keep us occupied…and also The Curse of La Llorona which apparently does take place in the Conjuring Universe even though it hasn’t been promoted as such.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
