Whether this is good or bad news may depend on your opinion on Godzilla: King of the Monsters, but it seems like the release date for the follow-up, intended to be March 13th next year, could be put back due to its disappointing box office. Warner Bros. studios head honcho Toby Emmerich told ‘Deadline’ that:

“It might come out later in the year, so we can deliver an A+ movie, that way the film will deliver for fans in the way they were looking for.”

As someone who was hugely let down by Godzilla: King of the Monsters, I reckon that more time taken with Godzilla Vs Kong can only be a good thing in terms of delivering a quality movie. But it needs to be a hit as well. While I love them myself, it seems that giant monsters don’t have anywhere near the pulling power of people in spandex. But we shall see….

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
