RELEASE DATE OF ‘SAW’ REBOOT IS MOVED UP FIVE MONTHS

Filming is currently underway on the next Saw film, with Darren Lynn Bousman of Saw II-IV back in the director’s chair. It was originally intended to be released in cinemas on October 23, 2020, but it now seems that the release date has been bumped up all the way to May 15, 2020! I thought this was odd, seeing as October is usually when Saw films come out, until I remembered that Halloween Kills will be hitting cinemas on October 16, 2020, so maybe the move is a good idea.

The script is by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg from a story by Chris Rock. Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols, Chris Rock and Morgan David Jones star. There’s still no word on if we’ll see Tobin Bell‘s Jigsaw in this new installment.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
