It wasn’t that long ago when we learnt that the character of Tommy Doyle would be making a return in next year’s Halloween Kills, and now we know that he’s going to be played by Anthony Michael Hall [The Breakfast Club, Weird Science]. Tommy was first played by Brian Andrews in the original Halloween, where he was one of the children Laurie Strode babysits. Paul Rudd later played him in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, but that particular film isn’t part of this particular timeline, so the Tommy of Halloween Kills has only had a run-in with Michael Myers as a child. Presumably, he’ll be reuniting with Laurie Strode to help take out Michael once and for all – well – until the next time.

I can’t say that this has made me any more excited for Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, I mean how many times do we need to see Laurie battle Michael?

Anyway, Halloween Kills will arrive in cinemas on October 16, 2020.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
