I’ll admit right now that I haven’t yet seen Zombieland: Double Tap. The reason is that I didn’t like Zombieland at all – I was waiting and waiting for the laughs and they never came – and am trying to see less films that I think I won’t enjoy. However, the general opinion from folk who do like the first movie is that the sequel isn’t nearly as good, though it seems that one new character has been something of a hit, and may still get me to go and watch the film, you never know. That character is dumb blonde Madison, played by Zoey Deutch. And even director Ruben Fleischer is a fan and wants to do a spinoff movie featuring her. As he said to ‘THR’:

“I would love to do a Madison standalone movie. I think the story of Madison and Berkeley beyond the events of Double Tap remains to be written. That would be a fun thing to go find out. That actually would’ve been a good post-credit scene where those two are in Babylon just being pretty dumb together.”

Speaking of future installments in the franchise, Fleischer told the site that:

“It would be a dream come true. It may take that long to get another story worth telling, but I’d be thrilled to go back to Zombieland.”

I’m sure fans don’t want it to be another ten years though….

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
