So at last the Batman has its Catwoman, and it’s Zoe Kravitz The Batman [Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men: First Class, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them] who is following in the footsteps of Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, Camren Bicondova and Lili Simmons [I’m no comic book character expert but I know my Catwomen!]. As previously reported, Robert Pattinson will play the Dark Knight in the upcoming Warner Bros. film which is set to start filming in January in the U.K.

Director and co-writer [with Mattson Tomlin] Matt Reeves described the film as a “defining” and “very personal” story, but that doesn’t really tell us much does it? We do know that Jeffrey Wright has also been cast as Commissioner Gordon, and unfortunately there is also a rumour that Jonah Hill is in it. Hopefully that will prove to be false.

The Batman will be released on June 25, 2021.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
