Well, I don’t know about you, but, despite not being enthralled by the idea of another Grudge remake, I think that this now looks pretty good going by this trailer, which gives us glimpses of what is no doubt another fine Lin Shaye performance and a scare in the shower that even made me jump despite the image being pretty familiar by now from posters.

After a young mother murders her family in her own house, a single mother and young detective tries to investigate and solve the case. Later, she discovers the house is cursed by a vengeful ghost that dooms those who enter it with a violent death. Now, she runs to save herself and her son from demonic spirits from the cursed house in her neighborhood.

Nicolas Pesce directs, and also co-writes with Jeff Buhler, and Betty Gilpin, Andrea Riseborough, William Sadler. Lin Shaye and John Cho star.

January 31 2020 is the release date.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
