James Cameron recently revealed some concept art from his forthcoming Avatar sequel. I wasn’t really the biggest fan of the first one, but it was certainly visually stunning, and the sequel looks like it will be even more so. But I wish he’d just hurry up! And will people be interested? Despite its huge box office success, Avatar isn’t really talked about often these days and didn’t make much of a cultural impact.

Cameron has also said that there will be more vehicles and machinery in addition to the multitude of alien life forms from the original 2009 movie.

“I also love the hard stuff. The vehicles, spacecraft, aircraft, ground vehicles, weapons, the hardware. I’m a total geek when it comes to that stuff. We have a lot of cool vehicles for you.”

The release date is Dec. 17, 2021, followed by three more sequels in 2023, 2025 and 2027.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
