Universal already has The Invisible Man, Dark Army, Renfield, and The Invisible Woman coming up in another effort to pull off their ‘Dark Universe’, and now comes the news that something titled Monster Mash is in the works. Matt Stawski [Side Effects] will direct from a script written by Will Widger. “The idea is being kept close the vest,” ‘Deadline’ notes, leaving us all wondering what this is going to be about. Could it be inspired by this Bobby “Boris” Pickett novelty song about a bunch of monsters getting together to have a graveyard smash? Here’s hoping.
