‘CORONA ZOMBIES’ COMING SOON FROM FULL MOON

Yep. I’m not making this up. Full Moon Features, the studio behind the Puppet Master and Trancers series and all sorts of other micro-budget fun, has announced that not only do they have Corona Zombies coming soon but that the movie is in the post-production phase, which means that, in typical Full Moon fashion, it’s been made very quickly indeed.

SYNOPSIS:
A government asleep at the wheel! The wealthy shrugging it off! And a virus that causes its victims to get up and kill! The people they kill… get up and kill.” Obviously Full Moon Features is taking aim at the United States reaction to the coronavirus pandemic.

It seems that the film is taking aim at the US government’s slow reaction [mirrored by our government in the UK] to the current corona crisis, and, seeing as the cover art features some zombies wearing breathing masks and clutching the world’s most coveted object: toilet paper – it’s clearly not a serious affair. Too Soon? I honestly don’t know whether to laugh or feel annoyed about it right now, but if Full Moon hadn’t have made this, another company would surely have beaten them to it.

Anyway, Corona Zombies will be available on Full Moon’s digital entertainment platforms, including Amazon and the Full Moon Features channel and app, on April 10th.

I'm a huge film fan and will watch pretty much any type of film, from Martial Arts to Westerns, from Romances [though I don't really like Romcoms!]] to Historical Epics. Though I most certainly 'have a life', I tend to go to the cinema twice a week! However, ever since I was a kid, sneaking downstairs when my parents had gone to bed to watch old Universal and Hammer horror movies, I've always been especially fascinated by horror, and though I enjoy all types of horror films, those Golden Oldies with people like Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee probably remain my favourites. That's not to say I don't enjoy a bit of blood and gore every now and again though, and am also a huge fan of Italian horror, I just love the style.
