LATEST NEWS: AMC Dispute with UNIVERSAL, means Walking Dead Film May Not Be Seen In Cinema’s

Its been a while since Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) was flown away by helicopter and never seen again in The Walking Dead and while the series has started to gain some fans back after a few  -lets be honest- dodgy seasons, the fanbase was looking forward to when Rick would appear in the very first Cinema movie based on the worldwide hit!

But it seems those hopes have taking a bit of dive!

Over the last few days, its been known that AMC and Regal Cinemas have been furious with Universal for letting films such as The Hunt. The Invisible Man, and Trolls: World Tour bypass Cinema and hit straight to VOD, with Trolls in particular making a lot of money and hinting that this is future for some films.

Its led to some chains refusing now to show UNIVERSAL films and as its the same studio that was set to produce and distribute those planned movies, then you can see where we have the problem!

With no start date yet on the filming of The Walking Dead movie, things may change, but with this row intensifying on each passing day, its looking more than likely, the world of Film releases may have changed forever.

More as we get it!
