Edgar Wright to Remake Stephen King’s The Running Man For Paramount


Its one of the old movie trivia questions for newcomers in which you ask them “What Stephen King film did 80’s Action Megastar Arnold Schwarzenegger star in?” as the 80’s Cult classic The Running Man has at times been largely forgotten when you look back at the iconic actor’s film career, but with King’s work becoming massively popular again, the book which was written under King’s pseudonym Richard Bachman, is heading back to the big screen.

Its been reported that Edgar Wright has been signed up by Paramount, to bring a new vision of the story – think of it as an adults Hunger Games – and he will co-write the script with Michael Bacall, that will be more closer to the book than Arnie’s more mainstream attempt offered up,
