J.J Abrams Heading Back to TV with Thriller “Subject to Change” for HBO Max

JJ. Abrams may be more famous now for his hit movies that include the likes of Star Wars and Mission Impossible, but he has also been behind some kick ass TV with the likes of ALIAS and LOST on his CV.

Now he is heading back into that genre with the highly intriguing “Subject to Change” which is being developed for HBO Max.

The small details we have is that:

The drama follows a desperate college student who signs up for a clinical trial that begins a wild, harrowing, mind- and reality-bending adventure.

Legion and Outlander’s Jennifer Yale has been set as the showrunner.

Abrams who will write and executive produce alongside his usual Bad Robot banner also had this to say

It’s been incredible fun weaving this rather insane yarn with Jenn, and I am grateful to her and everyone at HBO Max for the opportunity to bring this story to life”

HBO Max promises “an unexpected ride” that showcases the team’s brilliance.
