JJ Abrams to Reboot a Dark Version of CONSTANTINE for HBO Max

Despite Matt Ryan’s well received portrayal in NBC’S 2014 short-lived version, everyone’s favourite Occult Detective, CONSTANTINE is getting a new face and a much darker re-boot as its been confirmed that  J.J. Abrams is behind the new project for HBO Max.

Its already been confirmed that Guy Bolton is set to write the project, and that the series will see John Constantine as a young Londoner in which Deadline are reporting that “the character is set to be cast as a diverse lead.”

Keanu Reeves played the character in an underrated 2005 film.
