Ryan Krueger’s STREET TRASH Reimagining To Screen in UK Cinemas Ahead of Home Release

Street Trash

Lightbulb Film Distribution have announced that Street Trash, directed by Ryan Kruger, will be released in UK cinemas from January 10th 2025.

The feature is a reimagining of the 1987 cult horror-comedy of the same name. Kruger previously directed Fried Barry.

A group of misfits must fight for survival when they discover a plot to exterminate every homeless person in the city.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Street Trash to audiences in the UK & Ireland. Kruger’s new film is just as gloopy and depraved as the original, and the social commentary is arguably even more relevant today,” commented LFD Sales & Acquisitions Director, Peter Thompson.

Street Trash will be released in select UK cinemas from January 10th 2025, and on Digital & Blu-ray from February 17th 2025.

I love practical effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Yakuza Zero and Mafia III.
