The Madison Horror Film Festival is proud to announce the addition of Robert Z’dar and Tiffany Shepis as guests at this year’s event. The festival; which showcases short and feature films in the horror genre from around the world will be hosted by Freakshow and Sin-D Vicious from the local Madison, WI late night horror television show “Bordello of Horror”. In its 4th year running, the festival will takes place on Saturday November 3rd and Sunday November 4th, 2012. The independent film screenings and celebrity Q&A’s will again be held at the Market Square Cinema located at 6604 Odana Road Madison, WI 53715 and will begin at noon each day. The submission deadline for short and feature films will be Friday September 28th, 2012. All the submission details can be found at http://www.madisonhorror.net .
Robert Z'Dar made his film debut in "Code Name: Zebra." He achieved his greatest and most enduring cult movie fame as the vengeful, relentless and seemingly indestructible undead New York City police officer Matt Cordell in the immensely entertaining "Maniac Cop" pictures. Among Z'Dar's other memorable roles are a prison guard in the enjoyably sleazy "Hellhole," a crazed prostitute-murdering serial killer in "The Night Stalker" (this part directly led to Z'Dar being cast as Matt Cordell), a vicious criminal who savagely beats up Sylvester Stallone in "Tango and Cash," the Angel of Death in "Soultaker," a smooth drug dealer in the delightfully outrageous "The Divine Enforcer," and Linnea Quigley's abusive husband in "The Rockville Slayer." A popular frequent guest at horror film conventions, Robert Z'Dar has also produced several movies and continues to act with pleasing regularity in a slew of features.
Tiffany Shepis is a beautiful, sexy, and talented actress whose star is on the rise! She will soon be seen in the nationwide release of her starring vehicle, NIGHTMARE MAN, a horror thriller opening on 700+ screens through Lions Gate and After Dark Films “HORRORFEST: 8 Films To Die For” on November 9th 2007.
Tiffany and her career have been covered in JANE MAGAZINE, FANGORIA, SIRENS OF CINEMA, and more recently in USA TODAY as one of the top “Leading Women in Horror” and all the critics agree.
