A brand new quad poster for Gavin Williams’ short film Sleepworking, featuring a selection of the 23 festivals that the film has or will be showcased at, has been revealed and it features a fine quote from ourselves too after we reviewed Sleepworking earlier this year.
SLEEPWORKING won both the Prix du Meilleur Film and the Quiet Earth Prize at the Festival du Film Merveilleux & Imaginaire in Paris, France, and the Audience Award for Best Short at the Full Moon Horror and Fantasy Film Festival 2013 in Romania. It has screened at or is an official selection for Screamfest LA 2013, Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival 2013, Lund International Fantastic Film Festival, Thriller! Chiller! Gavin Williams will be attending the screening of Sleepworking at Grimmfest 2013 on Saturday 5th October 2013, at 1pm at The Dancehouse, Manchester. Sleepworking will then be screened the following week at Screamfest 2013 in Los Angeles, USA on 7.45pm on Sunday 13th October 2013.
But what is this award-winning film all about?
In the near future a young woman becomes a sleepworker: her body is programmed to do menial labour while she is asleep. However, she starts to suffer disturbing side effects and embarks upon a dangerous journey to uncover what sleepworkers are really being made to do while unconscious.
