WHITE SETTLERS (Polly McIntosh, The Walking Dead) was a hit with genre fans back in 2015 when it played festivals like SITGES, FRIGHTFEST and SCREAMFEST LA and subsequently released on Netflix in the UK and the US.
Now HABIT is set for its own festival success as this bloodthirsty feature film announces its first tranche of festival screenings for later this year. Logline: Michael, jobless and down on his luck is irresistibly drawn into the city’s seedy underworld and is groomed by a secretive subculture who have a dark secret; a bloody addiction that they intend Michael to share.
HABIT stars Elliot James Langridge (Northern Soul, Let’s be Evil), Jessica Barden (Penny Dreadful, The Lobster), William Ash (The Tunnel, Hush), Roxanne Pallett (Wrong Turn 6, Emmerdale) and Joanne Mitchel (Before Dawn, Attack of the Adult Babies) and is based on the brutal novel of the same name by Mancunian writer Stephen McGeagh. The film is set for release, early 2018.
