I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Silent Hill

  1. The horror comedy that’s made me laugh the most is definitely Braindead/Dead Alive. It’s such a ridiculous film that you can’t help but find it hilarious, even with buckets of blood and gore across the screen.

  2. Severance is my all time favourite horror comedy but recently ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ absolutely cracked me up.

  3. Sean of the Dead for me, witty humour, hilarious plot lines and best bit with Shaun and Ed deciding on which LP’s to use as ammo, brilliant

  4. American Werewolf in London is really funny in places, the conversation between David and Michael in the cinema cracks me up every time

  5. Does ‘Tremors’ count as a horror film..? Anyway I really enjoyed laughing at the silliness of all the gang being chased around town by a gigantic worm!

  6. a friend recently introduced me to “dracula: the dirty old man” from 1969.

it was supposed to a low-budget soft core horror i guess (they were called “sexy shockers” apparently), but they lost pretty much all of the soundtrack…so it was re-dubbed by a guy who is clearly having the time of his life coming up with this insane stream of consciousness comedy like a crude stan freberg.

it should be terrible (it’s basically 60s soft-core pron), but the narration turns it into a hilarious bizarro curio. i haven’t laughed so hard in ages. it’s on youtube if you can stomach the nudity.

  7. Shaun of the Dead. This movie works on so many levels. Superficially, it is an enjoyable zombie flick with some incredible practical gore effects. Also, it is laugh out loud funny with an indelibly charming British wit.

  8. Brain Dead by far the funniest horror ever made, if you have never heard of it do yourself a favour and look it up this low budget film is not only funnier than any other it is very bloody

  9. has to be sean of the dead ive seen this film so many times …its a film u never get bored of and can always laugh ….certainly brightens up my day

  10. I have to say the horror that made me laugh the most was The visit all the advertising of a horror and the granny makes me laugh!!!
