British horror XMOOR To Be Released on DVD and On Demand in UK on 9th May 2016

Signature Entertainment subsidiary Precision Pictures have announced that horror XMOOR will be released on DVD and on demand in the UK on 9th May 2016.

Determined to make history, American students Georgia and Matt travel to the remote Exmoor in North Devon to capture footage of legendary panthers that are said to roam the moor. The couple are joined by animal tracker Fox, who’s been tipped off on the whereabouts of the creature thanks to a witness who narrowly managed to escape it’s clutches.

The trio’s quest leads them to an unforgiving terrain where they uncover a series of dead bodies that have been methodically dumped in the forest and bear no signs of an ‘animal attack’. When they realise they are not the only people in the woods, the students soon begin to question Fox and his motives for guiding them there. Fox finally confesses that the true nature of their search is to capture a murderer who has been killing young prostitutes and dumping their bodies in the moors.

With surveillance covering the woods, they wait, eagerly anticipating the arrival of the serial killer. Little do they know that they are about to become the hunted!

Featuring a dream-team cast including Mark Bonnar (TV’s Catastrophe, Line of Duty), Nick Blood (TV’s Trollied, Babylon) and Simone Kirby (TV’s Peaky Blinders), Xmoor is one of the essential British horrors of the year.

I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Kingdom Come: Deliverance
