This animated short was created by students of Gobelins L’Ecole de L’Image (Gobelins School of the Image), a place where students are taught animation of go on to work on films all around the world, such as Shark Tale. Based in Paris, on the evidence of this brilliant short film, the students are being taught well.

Who’s Afraid of Mr Greedy? is directed by Simon Boucachard, Jean Baptiste Cumont, Sylvain Fabre, Guillaume Fesquet, Adeline Grange, Maxime Mary and Julien Rossire.

The plot follows a man who had his identity stolen as a child and he comes to get it back, using another child as bait.

The animation has that authentic French feel to it, with great use of music and the overall tone is actually very dark. I enjoyed this a lot!

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
