A short review by: Matt Wavish, official HCF critic
Now this was an intriguing film, British, and the plot is this. A guy called Aleister Crowley is basically a nasty piece of work, involved with the Occult and lots of drugs and rituals. He dies while teaching a student his works. 30 odd years later in a University, some scientists have created this box which does something with time and parallel universes. Enter into the box a lecturer, who comes out either as Mr Crowley, or serioulsy believing he is him.
What follows is a bizarre turn of events involving lots of rituals, long philosophical speeches, a group of students on the hunt for Mr Crowley, some naked women , make that, a lot of naked women , plenty of blood, and a rather bizarre score. Not a bad little film, which has great ideas and some pretty unsettling moments.
