Comedians Robin Ince, Brendon Burns, Shaun Keaveny (6Music) and host Jeff Innocent will present a celebration of the life of Bill Hicks on 26th Feb 2014.
Bill Hicks is widely recognised as one of the greatest comedians of the modern era – but unlike other comedians, who’s relevance ‘fades away’, the timeless nature of his material means his popularity keeps on growing, as shown by massive YouTube views, new documentaries and TV viewers Best Of…polls – but also through the tribute nights held every year around the world.
“He was extraordinary – funny, powerful, poignant, passionate, brilliant and moving.”– Russell Brand
