Grimm Up North have today announced that Claudio Simonetti’s GOBLIN will be performing a live score of Dario Argento’s classic SUSPIRIA at this year’s Grimmfest Film Festival 2014 in Manchester.
Festival Director Simeon Halligan says ‘we are delighted to be hosting this immersive screening of SUSPIRIA, our fans love the film and really get behind the apt venue’.
The live scored GOBLIN event will be followed by a screening of Dario Argento’s cut of DAWN OF THE DEAD, which is also soundtracked by GOBLIN.
The event will take place on 3rd October 2014 at The Dancehouse, Oxford Road, Manchester. Tickets cost £25 each and go on sale Friday 8th August 2014 at 9am. Full weekend festival passes will be priced at £75 and will include admission to the Suspiria screening performance.
Ahead of the Grimmfest film festival, which runs 2nd to 5th October 2014, Grimmfest will be holding festival preview screenings during the month of September. These include WHITE SETTLERS, directed by the festival’s own Simeon Halligan, and the world premiere of DEVIL’S TOWER starring Jason Mewes.
