Based on Lawrence Block’s bestselling series of mystery novels, A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES stars Liam Neeson as Matt Scudder, an ex-NYPD cop who now works as an unlicensed private investigator operating just outside the law. When Scudder reluctantly agrees to help a drugs trafficker (Dan Stevens) hunt down the men who kidnapped and then brutally murdered his wife, he learns that this is not the first time these men have committed this sort of twisted crime…nor will it be the last. Blurring the lines between right and wrong, Scudder races to track them through the backstreets of New York City before they kill again.

  1. Favourite liam neeson film is Schindlers list, the film is hugley moving and neeson representation of oskar Schindler is faultless, still one of my favourite films

  2. Taken because it brings awareness to young adults if they don’t be careful whilst on holiday, plus Liam Neeson is in it obviously

  3. Has to be TAKEN.
Luc Besson as the director with a good casting choise of LIAM NEESON.
This ended up being a great on the edge film from start to finish.

  4. The taken films as they were gripping from beginning to end & i adore liam neeson in all his films but taken was in a league of it’s own x

  5. Its Taken for me its just one amazing film about the lengths you would go to to say you children and he was an amazing actor for this part one of my all time favourite films

  6. My favoiurite Liam Neeson film has to be Schindlers List, it is a really moving film and based on the true story. He played the part so well.

  7. krull – a film so badass that the completely un-killable super badass liam neeson actually gets killed. todd carty lives however. which is all sorts of wrong.

  8. the Grey-Because there was no special effects to rely on,he had to make the film work on his acting and i think he managed to do it.It was a story of survival and the human spirit trying to live whatever the odds.A brilliant role and perfectly acted throughout.A film that relied on acting and not special effects which many films do thesedays, more films with storylines to them please!

  9. The Grey-Because the film relies on his acting rather than these big cgi productions.A film about a man stripped down to nothing and having to find a way to live when the odds are against him.No special effects just acting and a stiryline to work with, which he does brilliantly.the power of the human spirit to carry on,no matter what the odds. One of his best performances and i enjoyed it immensley.

  10. Taken is my favourite Liam Neeson movie, brilliant action all the way through. I especially like the way he disposes of Marco from Tropoja. Six inch nails through the knees and then connect to the electricity main, very painful I would imagine.

  11. The Haunting, This was a great film with an even greater cast, I loved the way he deceives them all into thinking its a sleep experiment. its sort of 2 stories into 1 that comes together at the end. not to scary. 👿

  12. Even though most people will say it, i have to go for taken.
Gripping film, real life violence, very raw and he was a total badass in it!

  13. Schindler’s List is my all time favorite film because it made me think and made me realize how lucky we are to live where we do

  14. My favourite role he’s done acting wise is Oskar Schindler in Schindlers List…very powerful….but when I see him now I can never forget his phone speech in Taken “I will find you…and I will kill you!” Classic. x

  15. Schindlers List – the acting was amazing and the film very moving. One of the best films ever made in my opinion.

  16. K-19: The Widowmaker, drama and suspense, based on a true story and yet has true to life soviet buffoonery in its story, when the subs medical officer is killed just before its maiden journey to be replaced by an army officer who has never been to sea and suffers from sea sickness.

  17. Schindler`s List. Liam Neeson gives a brilliantly understated portrayal of Schindler, who was a complicated person of many contradictions, and he does it in a believable way that provides a dramatic counterpoint to Fiennes` cold-eyed monster Amon Goeth. The film itself is arguably Spielberg`s masterpiece and finally gets my vote for its salutary importance as an icon of the 20th century.

  18. Taken. A great film and a memorable piece of dialogue:

I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

  19. Michael Collins : The ending montage of his death, the film is nearly historically correct. Liam had the perfect accent.

  20. Five Minutes of Heaven – a great film set in Northern Ireland and co-starring James Nesbitt. The film is really dramatic and gripping.

  21. Taken had me on the edge of my seat he played the part brilliantly

I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

  22. Schindlers List is my favourite of Liam Neesons films- he was such a brilliant actor in it. it was poignant thought provoking performance -one I shall never forget .

  23. ‘Taken’ is my fave Liam Neeson film. I love a good revenge movie and the most famous quote from that film, has to be up there among the greatest film quotes ever:-
“I don’t know who you are. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you”.
    Brilliant !

  24. Taken…….it was so captivating and still after watching it time and time again, it still has me on the edge of my seat!

  25. Michael Collins.
Although the film lacks historical accuracy it had some strong performances especially from Neeson and Rickman.

  26. Taken is my favourite film – and probably the one that brought him to my attention.
One of my all time favourite films. Extremely action packed, riddled with tension. Neeson is the ultimate badass.
“I will find you and I will kill you!”
    ;D
    Awesome! 😀

  27. My favourite movie is Taken because I think he plays the part so well and every girl likes to think of their daddy as their hero.

  28. My favourite is Taken because it was so action packed and had so many twists and turns. We have watched it many, many times! 🙂

  29. The Phantom menace. As im a huge Star Wars fan and i will never forget the anticipation of waiting for and watching the film when it came out!

  30. My favourite has to be The Haunting. From the beginning the movie has a very unsettling feel to it which continues throughout. It’s a brilliant film that will scare & shock! 😀

  31. Taken. I saw Liam in Schindlers list and obviously he was brilliant. And in Michael Collins, which again was brilliant. But Liam is M********f***********ing AWESOME in Taken!!
