This weeks eShop releases are bit of a mixed bag. First up on Wii U, there’s the divisive Watch_Dogs, which has taken its time to appear on Nintendo’s console, and it’s appeared with little to no fanfare. To download on the eShop it’ll set you back £49.99, and there’s also 2 sets of DLC, both with new missions, priced at £3.99 and £5.49. Watch_Dogs and its DLC will be available to download from 20/11/14.
Another release this week is the next attempt to reinvigorate the blue blur that is Sonic the Hedgehog, with Sonic Boom: The Rise of Lyric. Coinciding with comics and a cartoon series, Sonic Boom is Sega’s attempt at revitalising the franchise, and will cost £39.99 if you want to get it from the eShop. It’s available to download from 21/11/14.
Another in the ever growing catalogue of indie games hits the eShop this week, too. Rock Zombie sees an all female rock band attacked by a horde of the living dead in this arcade style action game, which is available from 20/11/14 for £6.29. Also hitting the eShop on 20/11/14 is two SNES Virtual Console titles from Natsume Inc; Wild Guns, a third person action shooter and Natsume Championship Wrestling, er, a wrestling game. If you owned either of these on the Wii, perform a system transfer to get a special discount on each title, otherwise, expect to pay £5.49, the usual going rate for a VC SNES game.
