On Thursday 20th August 2015, Grimm Up North will present a screening of the cult teen horror The Craft at Odeon Printworks in Manchester.

After the highly successful release of Charlie Lyne’s Teen Movie Video Essay/Documentary Beyond Clueless, there is no better time to rediscover one of the best teen horrors of the 90?s! The Craft follows Sarah (Robin Tunney) who after transferring to a Los Angeles high school, finds that her telekinetic gift appeals to a group of three wannabe witches, who happen to be seeking a fourth member for their rituals. Bonnie (Neve Campbell), Rochelle (Rachel True) and Nancy (Fairuza Balk), like Sarah herself, all have troubled backgrounds, which combined with their nascent powers lead to dangerous consequences. When a minor spell causes a fellow student to lose her hair, the girls grow power-mad.

Doors open at 6.30pm with the film starting at 7pm.

Tickets cost £7 and can be bought online.

I love practical effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Yakuza Zero and Mafia III.
