WHITE SETTLERS (Polly McIntosh, The Walking Dead) was a hit with genre fans back in 2015 when it played festivals like SITGES, FRIGHTFEST and SCREAMFEST LA and subsequently released on Netflix in the UK and the US.

Now HABIT is set for its own festival success as this bloodthirsty feature film announces its first tranche of festival screenings for later this year. HABIT has been selected for more than ten top genre film festivals so far and we can reveal they are: LUND FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL (Sweden), GRIMMFEST (Manchester UK), MAYHEM (Nottingham UK), CAMBRIDGE FILM FESTIVAL (UK), CELLULOID SCREAMS (Sheffield, UK), DUBLIN HORRORTHON (Dublin UK), RAZORREEL (Bruges, Belgium), NYC FILM FESTIVAL (New York US), TERRORMOLINS (Barcelona, Spain), ABERTOIR FILM FESTIVAL (Cardiff, Wales) and NIGHTVISIONS (Helsinki, Finland).

Logline: Michael, jobless and down on his luck is irresistibly drawn into the city’s seedy underworld and is groomed by a secretive subculture who have a dark secret; a bloody addiction that they intend Michael to share.

HABIT stars Elliot James Langridge (Northern Soul, Let’s be Evil), Jessica Barden (Penny Dreadful, The Lobster), William Ash (The Tunnel, Hush), Roxanne Pallett (Wrong Turn 6, Emmerdale) and Joanne Mitchel (Before Dawn, Attack of the Adult Babies) and is based on the brutal novel of the same name by Mancunian writer Stephen McGeagh. The film is set for release, early 2018.

I love practical effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Yakuza Zero and Mafia III.
