After eleven days of filming last summer, production on the latest Friday The 13th fan production 13 Fanboy has now resumed for a twenty-four day block of filming.
As a child, Kelsie witnesses the murder of her grandmother, a Friday the 13th actress, at the hands of a crazy fanboy. As an adult, she discovers her grandmother isn’t the only victim and finds herself battling to save the life of her grandmother’s best friend, also an actress from Friday the 13th, only to find she is now being targeted by the killer. But who is the killer? So many suspects, including the man lying beside her.
Yes, the plot seems a bit meta, but what’s really exciting about this one is the cast. Adrienne King, Kane Hodder, C.J. Graham, Thom Mathews, Judie Aronson, Lar Park Lincoln, Tracie Savage, Jennifer Banko, Ron Sloan, Carol Locatell, Corey Feldman, and the appropriately named Deborah Voorhees- who also directs and co-writes – will all be names you will recognise if you are fans of the franchise, and Dee Wallace is also appearing. Phew!
