When You Thought It Couldn’t Get Worse… Trailer Revealed For 5G ZOMBIES

SCS Entertainment have announced the outbreak of 5G Zombies, set to release on DVD and VOD May 1st, 2020.

Whether or not you believe in the conspiracy theories of the link between 5G and the pandemic, it seems a bunch of filmmakers have decided to jump on the bandwagon in taking advantage of the current global crisis with this tongue-in-cheek zombie flick.

In a world overtaken by a recent virus pandemic, all governments have conspired together to brainwash the remaining survivors using 5G cell service to create a new world order. Watch our world crumble from various perspectives…just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse!

The low budget effort is a British-American anthology from Directors Dark Infinity (“Nemesis 5”, “The Last Roommate”) and John R. Walker (“Amityville Playhouse” and “Ouijageist”). Not much information is available about the movie besides but, unlike Corona Zombies which has mashed two movies together, it looks like 5G Zombies has been intentionally shot recently as a standalone movie.

As with Corona Zombies, some people will suggest this is bad taste whilst others are open to light entertainment, poking fun at everything and anything, even if it is close to the bone. It’s definitely not the first, and probably won’t be the last film we’ll see this year on the subject.

I love practical effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Yakuza Zero and Mafia III.
