New Zealand comedian and actor, Jonny Brugh, best known for his role as Deacon the vampire in 2014 hit What We Do In The Shadows, has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Seed&Spark for his short film, PROOF.
Determined to find evidence of an afterlife, an old man goes too far. After all, extraordinary belief requires extraordinary Proof.
Proof is described as ‘a tense slice-of-life that takes the audience to a difficult place, yet ends wonderfully and optimistically. As a short film, Proof aims to challenge our perceptions of humanity.’
As writer and director of the short film, Jonny is looking to raise $20,000 for his short psychological thriller with plenty of perks on offer, including shout outs, signed script pages, video messages and more.
Collaborating with Koura Linda, President of Space Dream Productions, they are looking to develop real, raw films that touch the heart and open the mind whilst bringing New Zealand stories to international screens.
You can find out more about Proof, the perks on offer and donate on their Seed&Spark page.
