The Blackening

Universal Pictures UK has revealed the trailer for horror comedy THE BLACKENING, directed by Tim Story (Ride Along and Barbershop) from a screenplay by Tracy Oliver and Dewayne Perkins.

The Blackening centres around a group of friends who reunite for a Juneteenth weekend getaway only to find themselves trapped in a remote cabin with a twisted killer. Forced to play by his rules, the friends soon realise this ain’t no mother****** game.

Featuring Grace Byers, Jermaine Fowler, Melvin Gregg, X Mayo, Dewayne Perkins, Antoinette Robertson, Sinqua Walls, with Jay Pharoah and Yvonne Orji, THE BLACKENING hits cinemas 25th August 2023.
