Poster and synopsis revealed for I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER reboot!

When SCREAM was a huge hit in 1996, it caused a wave of slasher films to hit the market and one of those was the fan favourite I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER that had the written hand of Kevin Williamson himself to aide the success.

So, its only right that after the success of the recent SCREAM reboot, that I KNOW would follow and SONY having been impressed with what director Kaytin Robinson and screenwriter Leah McKendrick came up with, its now all systems go for the fisherman with the murderous hook to return.

Now as you can from the above image that the first poster has been released, with also a synopsis.

“When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they’re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer… and is hell-bent on revenge. As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.”

Again, much like the recent SCREAM, this will be a legacy sequel with both Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr reprising their roles among a new crowd of faces who will no doubt carry the touch to a new direction….

I Know What You Did Last Summer hits cinemas on July 18.

Since my mother sat me down at the age of five years of age and watched a little called Halloween, I have been hooked on horror. There is no other genre that gets me excited and takes me to the edge of entertainment. I watch everything from old, new, to cheap and blockbusters, but I promise all my readers that I will always give an honest opinion, and I hope whoever reads this review section, will find a film that they too can love as much as I do! Have fun reading, and please DO HAVE NIGHTMARES!!!!!!
