GL Entertainment have announced Gregory Blair’s slow-burn, psychological thriller DEADLY REVISIONS will be released for distribution on Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and more September 29th, 2015.   With its creepy tale of a horror film writer who may or may not be losing his mind, the release date will make seeing DEADLY REVISIONS the perfect start to the Halloween season.

The film has already racked up awards including “Best Picture” (Flicker Awards), “Best Narrative Feature” (L.A. Movie Awards), “Best Feature Film Screenplay” (Claw Awards), “Best Director of an Indie Horror Film” (EOTM Awards) and the FANtastic Horror Film Festival Awards for “Best Actor (Bill Oberst, Jr.) and “Best Actress” (Cindy Merill).  Twisted Central called it “a twisted mind bender!”, A Bucket of Corn deemed it “Visionary!” and Dread Central said: “director Gregory Blair gives thinking-man’s thriller fans something to chew on.”

In DEADLY REVISIONS, Oberst, Jr. plays Grafton Torn—an amnesiac horror film writer for whom hypnotherapy and nightmares reveal terrifying images that just can’t be real.  Or can they?   It’s a twist-filled psychological thriller as well as a loving valentine to the horror genre with winks to horror greats, including Hitchcock, DePalma, Carpenter and others.   Some of it was even filmed at the same location used for “Friday the 13th, Part 4”.

“I just wanted to make a fun, old-fashioned film,” Blair says.  “The kind of movie you can curl up with at night and slowly get lost in, not hit over the head with.  And I always liked mysteries, so I let the story take its time, setting up the pieces of Grafton’s patchwork memories and then letting them slowly twist into nightmares that keep revising.  And people have responded to that, so I guess I’m not alone.”

DEADLY REVISIONS, a PIX/SEE Productions film, will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, Comcast Cable TV, VOD, iTunes, Amazon Prime, Google Play and More.  For more information:

I love practical effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Yakuza Zero and Mafia III.
